- Myofascial release is a rather different approach where gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
- Trigger point therapy, first A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. Better yet it refers to pain somewhere else. Example: A trigger point in the back, for example, may produce referral pain in the neck. … trigger point therapy may help manage pain and stress from chronic injuries.
- Hawkgrips or IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilizations) The techniques are designed to produce a healing response( inflammation response) Disclaimer: IASTM treatment may include mild bruising along the lines of treatment, and delayed onset muscle soreness. Oftentimes, the patients describe a general warming feeling or even some tingling in the treated areas for up to 24 hours.
- Integrated Kinetic Therapy is a top-down bottom-up approach entangling the central nervous system and the proprioceptive system to discard the load discrepancies of the body.
- Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex(P-DTR) is a series of manual muscle testing that allows for a clear road map within the brain. By using this roadmap to treat critical imbalances within the central nervous system we can enhance the body’s performance. When trauma alters the nervous system tension may start to build up resulting in pain. An alternative treatment”s approach can be a game-changer.
