My name is Graci and I am a dancer. I recently tweeked my lower back and Miss Jessica performed certain maneuvers that fixed me right up. What I loved the most was she identified my body’s areas of weakness so that I could strengthen those areas to prevent further injuries. In addition she gave me a workout plan that is geared towards getting stronger as an athlete and a dancer. Thank you Miss Jessica!

Maura C, 27, 

I have been an athlete for going on 14 years now. I have had my fair share of injuries and set backs throughout my athletic career. Never before have I received the professional expertise and care that Jessica Weed has offered through her manual therapy at Balanced Body Center.  

 My most recent injury, with my wrist, has put my training on hold for over two months. This injury prevented me from doing any lifting, let alone being able to perform daily activities without having severe pain. I thought I had damaged a muscle or even broken a bone. I had extensive scans and x-rays done to see whether or not the injury was that severe. The results were inconclusive and the doctors I had consulted had no idea as to what was causing my pain or how to go about fixing the problem.

 Having worked with Jessica before and knowing that she has worked for many years on athletes I thought I would see if she could diagnose and treat my injury. It only took one consult with Jessica at Balanced Body Center to identify where my pain was coming from and how to begin treating it. Not only did she provide me with relief but she also gave me the tools to prevent any further injuries.

 Out of my 14 years as an athlete –having been through several athletic trainers and doctors– I have never experienced such a speedy recovery until I chose Balanced Body Center. I firmly believe that what Jessica is doing at Balanced Body Center can change the way people take care of their bodies.

I have throughly enjoyed working with Jessica. She has listened to what I want for myself and designed a pathway for me to succeed. I suffer from chronic migraines and during my fitness journey, we have found out what the major cause is. By using NKT, she has pin pointed to which part of my body is overworking for the next. Because of her time and skill set, my migraines have almost disappeared. As an athlete and former dancer, I know what my body is capable of and she takes it to the next level to make sure I can reach my full potential. I would recommend her and the balanced body center to everyone.

I am a power lifter. I have been lifting heavy consistently for about 7 years now. Jess came and introduced me to NKT and myofascial therapy which really took my body, which of course in my mind i thought was in great condition (it was not) and brought my performance to the next level. She really taught me how the body works in ways i never thought of. She did one session on me and I became incredibly more mobility in my shoulders than ever before.

Training with Jess was one of the best things that had happened to me. She was always encouraging and would never let me beat myself up when I would get frustrated. She helped me turn that frustration into results in our training sessions. She helped me become stronger, healthier, and more active. She not only trained me, she shared her knowledge with me to help me continue to improve once our training came to an end. She is always passionate about everything she does. She was the one who helped when I couldn’t figure out why my legs had felt so weak all of the time with the help of NKT. We worked together and after just one session I could physically feel the strength return to my legs. I swear, Jess has magic hands. She is always able to help me whenever I come to her. She’s an amazing trainer and an even more amazing person.

I really appreciated Jess’ expertise during our NKT session together. She was both professional and informative, which I liked because it lets me know what is going on with my body and how to better help it heal. I will say it felt foreign to me at first because I had never heard let alone had NKT done before. But Jess did a wonderful job communicating with me throughout the session, making me more comfortable and allowing it to be an enjoyable experience. At the end I couldn’t believe the adjustments I felt just standing up. It’s like your body is able to realign itself. I felt stronger and less weak in my usual problem areas. Three years and three months ago, I walked into a gym looking to make my body healthier. I was greeted by a young trainer named Jess. She showed me around and ended signing me up for some training sessions.

I was in terrible shape. With two kids, I had neglected to take care of me. Well the journey began……every session was tough for this body, but somehow Jess kept me motivated and actually happy to see her.

I’ve lost 25 lbs. and turned fat into muscle thanks to Jess. When life gives you a pain, she can undo it with NKT.

This trainer is a multi-talented powerhouse…..example: personal training, myofascial release, injury care and prevention, NKT. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL JESS. It is never too late! I’m 68 years old and am lucky to have been greeted three years and three months ago by my trainer Jess. Yes, I still work out with her every week and plan to continue for a very, very long time.
